Description:
The Export Operations Account Manager is primarily responsible for providing operational services to meet the clients’ needs in a cost-effective, timely and friendly manner.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Coordinate with Steamship Lines, Drayage Providers, Suppliers and USDA to export containerized loads for our clients
- Consult clients to obtain information to ensure correct measures are in place and clients’ needs are met
- Issue correct shipment information and arrange shipment pick-up
- Ensure shipments meet OSHA, USDA, and FMC regulations, in addition to local regulations
- Ensure procedures and standards as set are maintained
- Assist other team members as required in a team environment and instructed by manager
- Daily tracking of shipments
