Description:
I am seeking a dedicated and empathetic Associate Attorney to join my growing family law practice. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in family law (prior experience preferred but not required), excellent communication skills, and a passion for advocating on behalf of clients during challenging times.
Key Responsibilities
- Represent clients in family law matters with an ability to manage your own caseload.
- Draft and review legal documents such as petitions, motions, settlement agreements, and parenting plans.
- Conduct legal research and provide sound legal advice to clients.
- Prepare and present cases in Domestic Relations, Probate, and Juvenile Courts in Hamilton, Clermont, Butler, and Warren counties.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their unique needs and goals, providing guidance and support throughout the legal process.
- Participate in settlement negotiations, mediations, and litigation.
- Maintain accurate and organized case files and documentation.
Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
- Licensed to practice law in the state of Ohio or plans to take the Ohio Bar Exam in July, 2025
- Experience in family law practice is preferred but not required.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Client-focused with strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines effectively.
- Demonstrated commitment to client-centered service and ethical practice.
