This role is ideal for experienced stack testing professionals ready to manage complex field projects, lead teams, and ensure top-quality environmental data collection.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage all logistical aspects of field testing projects, coordinating with logistics and office managers before deployment.

  • Supervise and direct daily field operations, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and project requirements.

  • Serve as the primary liaison between test teams, client plant contacts, and regulatory agencies.

  • Oversee field data review and ensure rigorous quality control standards are maintained.

  • Manage scope changes and communicate updates effectively to clients and stakeholders.

  • Train, mentor, and lead field team personnel to ensure performance excellence.

  • Oversee on-site safety, scheduling, and project progress to meet deadlines efficiently.


A Day in the Life:

This is not a desk job — you’ll spend most of your time outdoors, managing testing operations and working directly with clients and field staff. Field Project Managers frequently work at elevated industrial sites (50–300 feet) and travel extensively for multi-day projects.


Requirements:

  • High school diploma or degree in a relevant technical field.

  • Minimum of 2 years of stack testing experience (QI certification preferred).

  • Strong knowledge of applicable Federal, State, and Local air quality regulations.

  • Advanced understanding of stack testing methods and procedures.

  • Willingness to travel overnight and locally up to 70% or more of the time.

  • Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in industrial outdoor settings.

  • Must pass background checks and drug screenings.

  • Valid driver’s license and eligibility for DOT medical certification and OSHA Respiratory Protection Medical Evaluation.
