How You'll Make An Impact
- Execute precision mechanical work in high-voltage electrical substations across diverse geographical regions
- Conduct comprehensive equipment inspections and diagnostic assessments to prevent costly failures
- Service and repair sophisticated transformer systems using advanced troubleshooting methodologies
- Analyze complex technical data to develop optimal solutions for critical customer challenges
- Operate state-of-the-art Vacuum Oil Processors (VOPs) and specialized oil handling equipment
- Maintain detailed processing logs and provide technical support for transformer testing operations
- Utilize cutting-edge software platforms for data management and site visit documentation
- Collaborate with engineering teams to implement innovative maintenance strategies
- Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines
Your Background
- High School Diploma/GED plus 2+ years of professional work experience in technical or mechanical fields
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record and ability to travel up to 85% nationwide
- Physical capability to lift 50 lbs., climb ladders, and perform demanding tasks for extended periods
- Comfort working outdoors in all weather conditions for up to 12 hours daily
- Class A CDL preferred for operating specialized service vehicles
- Welding certification or experience preferred for enhanced field capabilities
- Candidate must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for Hitachi Energy in the United States
