Our client, an industry leader with operations in central NC, has an immediate opening for a Financial Controller, reporting to the Chief Financial Officer.
Responsibilities:
The Financial Controller is a key member of the finance team and is responsible for:
- Managing all accounting operations and ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
- Take a leadership role which is especially critical in their growing manufacturing environment, where cost accounting, budgeting, and operational analysis are essential to driving informed business decisions.
- Be hands-on and collaborate closely with operations, Human Resources, and executive leadership to support financial transparency.
- Oversee capital expenditures, assist with payroll, and new hire administration.
- Oversee the company's financial records and accounting personnel.
- Maintain all procedures and controls related to the company's financial accounts.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
- Five or more years of related experience.
- Solid knowledge of financial operations and cost accounting.
- Strong understanding of GAAP.
- Fluency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
- Strong written, verbal and collaboration skills.
