General Liability Attorney

Project Recruit, in partnership with a highly regarded regional multidisciplinary law firm, is seeking a General Liability Attorney for its growing insurance coverage practice group in New York, NY. This is a full-time, on-site opportunity for a motivated legal professional who thrives in a collaborative, dynamic, and professional environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze and interpret complex legal issues related to general liability matters

• Maintain ongoing communication with claims professionals and document all relevant interactions

• Assist in the strategic resolution of legal cases

• Draft and prepare pleadings and legal documents with precision

• Conduct depositions and manage motion practice

• Trial experience is a strong plus and highly valued in this role

Required Qualifications:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school

• Active member in good standing of the New York Bar

• A minimum of 4 years of demonstrated experience in general liability litigation

• Exceptional analytical, written, and verbal communication skills

• Proven ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a high-pressure environment

• Capable of working independently as well as collaboratively within a legal team

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior trial experience will be considered a significant advantage

• Experience working in a multidisciplinary law firm environment is a plus

Compensation:

• Salary Range: $150,000 to $195,000 annually (equivalent to $12500–$16250/month)
