Prudent Technologies and Consulting, Inc. is currently seeking a Personal Data Transfer (PDT) Resource with fluency in both German and English to support remote data security operations for U.S. clients. This role is fully remote and contract-based, offering a competitive hourly rate of $28/hr.

The selected candidate will play a vital role in managing personal data transfers (PDT) as part of a specialized security team. Responsibilities include handling sensitive employee data, uploading files to secure share drives, running security scans, reviewing scan results, identifying discrepancies, and ensuring compliance with security protocols. This process is critical when employees exit the organization, ensuring all data is securely transferred and safeguarded.

The role requires proficiency in both German and English languages as the resource will collaborate with offshore teams and may need to review multilingual data. Candidates must possess basic to intermediate security expertise (L1+/L2 security skills) covering data and infrastructure security, as well as a foundational understanding of multiple security domains.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and process Personal Data Transfers (PDT) securely and efficiently.

• Upload, scan, and review sensitive data files using established tools and procedures.

• Identify and highlight discrepancies in scan results and ensure corrective measures are taken.

• Maintain compliance with data protection and security protocols.

• Collaborate with both onshore and offshore teams to ensure smooth operations.

• Work independently while maintaining high accuracy and confidentiality standards.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Fluency in both German and English (verbal and written).

• At least 2+ years of experience in data/infrastructure security or similar domains.

• Familiarity with security domains, compliance frameworks, and IT security fundamentals.

• Strong analytical, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities.

• Ability to manage tasks independently in a fully remote environment.

• Immediate start.

• Contract for the remainder of the year with potential extension.
