Jeffers Design, LLC, a solo creative studio with over 13 years of design experience, is seeking a talented and motivated Part-Time Contract Graphic & Web Designer to join the team remotely. This is a fantastic opportunity for a creative individual—particularly a design student or early-career professional—looking to gain hands-on experience across a wide array of design projects, from branding and digital graphics to web design and content updates.

Though the position is part-time and freelance, the ideal candidate will see this as a long-term partnership. Jeffers Design is looking for a trusted creative collaborator who is eager to grow alongside a small but evolving design business, with the potential for this role to grow into a full-time opportunity.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support various design projects, including branding, print materials, digital content, and websites.

• Assist with client updates and content editing within WordPress or other CMS platforms.

• Handle small project requests and ensure on-time delivery.

• Communicate promptly about project progress, timelines, and task updates.

• Deliver work that demonstrates strong attention to detail and high creative standards.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Strong understanding of design fundamentals: layout, color, typography, and composition.

• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite: Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.

• Working knowledge of WordPress CMS.

• Excellent communication skills and responsiveness.

• Ability to work independently, managing tasks on a flexible schedule.

• Efficient time management and organizational skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Familiarity with Elementor page builder.

• Basic HTML/CSS knowledge.

• Customer service awareness and professionalism.

Working Conditions & Benefits:

• Job Type: Contract (1099-NEC)

• Work Hours: Approx. 5–15 hours/week (flexible and may vary based on workload)

• Location: Fully Remote

• Hourly Rate: $25 – $40 (commensurate with experience)
