Regulatory Compliance & Risk Management Ensure full compliance with all applicable local, state, and federal regulations, including OSHA, DOT, and EPA standards. Maintain and advance ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 management systems to proactively assess, mitigate, and manage health, safety, and environmental risks. Oversee all regulatory reporting and recordkeeping obligations with accuracy and accountability.
Auditing & Continuous Improvement Lead internal audits, site inspections, and HSE risk assessments in alignment with facility guidelines and internationally recognized standards. Identify hazards related to processes, services, and products, and recommend corrective actions that drive meaningful, sustainable improvement. Continuously evaluate and enhance regulatory programs to stay ahead of evolving standards and best practices.
Culture & Leadership Direct and inspire the facility's safety team, fostering a culture where safety is not just a requirement — it's a shared value. Partner cross-functionally with stakeholders at all levels to embed safety thinking into daily operations and decision-making. Develop and deliver engaging HSE training programs that equip employees with the knowledge and confidence to work safely every day.
Incident Management & Root Cause Analysis Apply Lean problem-solving tools, including 8D and A3 methodologies, to lead thorough incident investigations and root cause analyses. Translate findings into actionable corrective measures that prevent recurrence and strengthen the overall safety management system.
Safety Compliance Control of Hazardous Energy, Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), Electrical Safety, Ergonomics, Machinery & Machine Guarding, Powered Industrial Vehicles (PIV), Confined Space Entry, Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), Hazard Communication, and Material Handling.
Environmental Compliance Air Quality & Emissions, Energy Management, Solid & Hazardous Waste, Wastewater & Stormwater Management, and Above- & Underground Storage Tank Management.
Qualifications Seeking
5–7 years of progressive HSE experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment
Bachelor's degree in Environmental Health & Safety, Engineering, or a related field preferred
Working knowledge of OSHA 1910, EPA, DOT, and other applicable safety and environmental regulations
