Blue Chip Talent is looking for a highly skilled Infrastructure Technical Writer to document and standardize IT infrastructure processes. The key responsibility is to develop a comprehensive Field IT Playbook covering process flows, best practices, and infrastructure setup guidelines across multiple locations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create comprehensive, well-structured documentation for IT infrastructure including networking, field IT operations, and cabling standards.

• Develop clear process flows and best practices for communications rooms (comms rooms), infrastructure setup, and IT operations.

• Conduct interviews with subject matter experts (SMEs) to gather insights and translate them into clear, user-friendly documentation.

• Organize information into a structured Field IT Playbook for new hires and field IT personnel.

• Document best practices for IT infrastructure planning in construction and remodel projects.

• Continuously update documentation as processes evolve.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in technical writing focusing on IT infrastructure, networking, and field IT operations.

• Proven ability to create structured technical documents, playbooks, and process flows.

• Skilled at interviewing SMEs and extracting key knowledge.

• Experience collaborating with IT teams and field personnel to ensure documentation accuracy.

• Familiarity with IT infrastructure documentation in enterprise or multi-site environments.

• Background in technical writing, knowledge management, or IT operations.
