A Houston-based law firm specializing in insurance defense and complex litigation is seeking an experienced Insurance Defense Trial Associate to join their team. This firm is well-regarded for its appellate and litigation expertise and offers the opportunity to work on high-stakes cases across a range of industries, including oil and gas, intellectual property, and employment law.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle insurance defense cases from start to finish, including legal research, drafting motions, pleadings, and discovery responses.

• Prepare for depositions, mediations, and trials.

• Work directly with global insurers, providing legal counsel on policy coverage, catastrophic personal injury cases, product defects, and more.

• Develop litigation strategies in collaboration with senior attorneys and firm leadership.

• Gain multi-jurisdictional experience through the firm’s national presence.

Requirements:

• 2+ years of litigation and trial experience.

• Excellent research and writing skills.
