Interim Director Of Treasury

Vaco by Highspring is seeking an interim Director of Treasury for immediate start (early June). This is a fully remote contract opportunity with potential for contract-to-hire for the right candidate.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee treasury operations including cash management, liquidity planning, and financial risk mitigation.

• Collaborate with senior finance leadership to develop and implement treasury strategies supporting business growth and financial stability.

• Manage debt and capital market transactions and funding strategies.

• Maintain relationships with banking partners, commercial banks, and credit rating agencies to secure competitive financial products and services.

• Ensure regulatory and internal compliance in cash management processes.

• Align treasury goals with corporate objectives through cross-functional partnerships.

• Oversee daily cash management ensuring optimal cash utilization.

• Develop accurate short- and long-term cash flow forecasts.

• Negotiate credit facilities and support debt issuance activities.

• Assess capital structure, financing needs, and investment opportunities with finance leadership.

• Drive treasury process automation and optimization for efficiency and scalability.

• Monitor industry trends and implement treasury best practices.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field. MBA or Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) designation preferred.

• Minimum 10 years of treasury experience with at least 5 years in a leadership role.

• Recent treasury experience in a publicly traded or large private equity-owned company.

• Strong knowledge of cash management, capital markets, credit rating processes.

• Proven track record managing debt facilities, capital market transactions, and risk management strategies.

• Experience in Building/Construction or Architect/Engineering industries is a plus (project-oriented cash flows).

• Exceptional analytical, communication, and leadership skills.

Compensation and Benefits:

• Hourly Rate: $90 - $125/hour (client target $100/hour, negotiable)
