Interventional Radiologist

Description:

Piedmont Medical Center is seeking 5 Interventional Radiologists (IR) with Diagnostic Radiology (DX) expertise for full-time onsite coverage. The position involves a mix of IR (60%) and DX (40%) services, with coverage across Piedmont Rock Hill and Piedmont Fort Mills. The role requires a full-week (7-day) commitment, with weekday onsite shifts (Monday–Friday, 8 AM – 5 PM EST) and light overnight and weekend call coverage.

Key Responsibilities:

✔ Perform all IR procedures, including:

• Angiography

• Arthrography

• Breast IR

• CT & MRI Guidance

• Gastrointestinal IR

• Venography

• Biopsy & Drainage

• Transcatheter Procedures

• Shuntogram & Reconstruction
  ✔ Read diagnostic imaging for 5 sites
  ✔ Maintain a minimum of 45-50 wRVU per shift
  ✔ Utilize PACS RP Cloud system

Requirements:

🔹 Fellowship required in Interventional Radiology
🔹 SC License preferred (if unlicensed, expect a 60-day processing time)
🔹 Ability to commit to 1-week minimum assignments (long-term preferred)
🔹 Experience in both Interventional and Diagnostic Radiology
