ECU Health Physicians and ECU Health Women’s Care – Roanoke Rapids are seeking a Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner, Family Nurse Practitioner, or Physician Assistant to join their expanding women’s health team. The selected NP/PA will be part of a growing, physician-led, nine-hospital health system dedicated to improving healthcare access and outcomes for women in eastern North Carolina. This position emphasizes outpatient obstetrics and gynecology services in a collaborative, patient-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide outpatient obstetrics and gynecology care to women of all ages.

• Deliver preventive, diagnostic, and therapeutic care within a multidisciplinary team.

• Work collaboratively with ECU Health Physicians and Women’s/Children’s Service Line at ECU Health Medical Center.

• Maintain high-quality clinical documentation and patient-centered service.

• Ensure compassionate, evidence-based treatment for a wide range of women’s health concerns.

• Participate in the continued growth of the women’s care program through patient engagement and clinical excellence.

• Adhere to all clinical and administrative protocols of ECU Health.

Work Schedule and Environment:

• Schedule: Monday–Friday, day shifts.

• Call, weekends, and holidays: None — ensuring excellent work-life balance.

• Setting: Outpatient-only clinic at ECU Health Women’s Care, 306 Becker Drive, Roanoke Rapids, NC 27870.

• Support: Strong collaboration with ECU Health’s Maynard Children’s Hospital and ECU Health Medical Center.

Qualifications:

• Licensed Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) in North Carolina.

• BLS certification (American Heart Association) required.

• Prior experience in women’s health, obstetrics, or gynecology strongly preferred.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

• Ability to work independently while contributing effectively to a team-based care model.

• Commitment to patient education and preventive healthcare.
