Inventory Specialist

Description:

eStaffing Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Inventory Specialist to support inventory operations at a contractor site in Parrish, Alabama. This is not a traditional warehouse setting but an active contractor environment, primarily supporting WiFi cable installation and fiber burial projects.

The Inventory Specialist will be responsible for handling and tracking small-part, high-volume materials, such as splitters, construction tools, vaults, and utility markers. The candidate will be expected to maintain orderly records, support inventory movement, and uphold the efficiency of the supply flow. The role is ideal for someone who thrives in dynamic, outdoor environments and possesses a strong sense of data accuracy and operational improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct inventory audits, cycle counts, and verification of stock and unit ID numbers

• Maintain detailed and up-to-date inventory records and reports

• Unpackage, sort, and stage inventory items for use in projects

• Label and organize inventory across contractor site buildings with limited storage

• Ensure proper stock placement and support production needs

• Collaborate with supervisors and complete day-to-day inventory tasks

• Continuously seek process improvements to support operational efficiency

Job Requirements:

• Ability to work independently and manage tasks with minimal supervision

• Highly organized with strong analytical and record-keeping skills

• Excellent verbal and written communication

• Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs

• Comfortable standing for extended periods and working outdoors

• Flexible availability to meet project needs

• Proficiency with computers; Microsoft Excel skills preferred
