Hiring: IT Audit Leader

We are looking for a talented and experienced IT Audit professional to join our Client team and lead independent audits of Information Systems operations and applications. This exciting role is for a healthcare client located in Chicago, IL and Richardson, TX.

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a hybrid work model (3 days onsite) and an initial onsite training period during the first week. W2 only – no C2C or 1099 arrangements.

Job Overview:
As an IT Audit Leader, you will:
-> Develop and execute audit test plans to ensure system integrity and compliance.
-> Supervise and mentor IT Audit staff, providing guidance and training.
-> Collaborate with management to create the IT Audit Master Plan.
-> Evaluate internal controls for new systems and manage multiple projects.
-> Prepare detailed reports with findings and recommendations.
-> Lead audits in key IT areas such as cloud security, data governance, AI, cybersecurity, and network security.

Key Requirements:
Education & Experience:
-> Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Accounting, or Finance with 5+ years of system auditing and computer programming/analysis experience OR 9 years of comparable IT experience (including 5 years in system auditing, programming/analysis, and data security).

Expertise:
Thorough knowledge of audit standards, information systems design, end-user technologies, and audit software.
Extensive experience in IT Audit areas like cloud security, privacy, cybersecurity, and more.

Leadership Skills:
Proven ability to lead audits, manage teams, and resolve conflicts.
Expertise in compliance, regulatory policies, and corporate operations.
Preferred Qualifications:
Certifications such as CIA, CISA, CISSP, or CFE.
Advanced education (e.g., MBA) or technical training.
