Description:

We're seeking an experienced IT Manager (emphasis on Data Analytics and ERP with oversight for Infrastructure which is outsourced) to lead our technology operations and drive digital enablement across the business. This role ensures the reliability, performance, and security of IT systems across multiple sites while spearheading digital transformation initiatives that enhance efficiency, data visibility, and operational excellence. Key priorities include ERP modernization, advanced data analytics, AI-enabled automation, and implementing scalable systems to support rapid business growth and global customer requirements.

This is a hands-on, roll-up-your sleeves position. At this time there are no direct reports, you will oversee a 3rd party for Infrastructure. You will be hands-on and your priority task, coming onboard, will be data analytics (building dashboards and reports) and supporting the manufacturing ERP system.

Infrastructure is outsourced, therefore the experience for this role is weighted more on ERP and Data Analytics with some oversight for infrastructure. Hands-on working with data and the ERP.

In time this position will grow to managing IT globally and increased leadership in the organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Data Analytics & AI Enablement
    You will be hands-on developing data pipelines, dashboards, and reporting tools (Power BI or equivalent). Drive AI/ML applications for manufacturing, operations, and business intelligence.
  • ERP Upgrade & Optimization
    Lead ERP upgrades and process automation initiatives. Collaborate with operations, supply chain, finance, and engineering teams to streamline workflows and ensure strong user adoption.
  • Digital Transformation & Automation
    Deploy digital manufacturing tools (MES, IoT, automation systems) and create a multi-year technology roadmap aligned with global growth.
  • IT Infrastructure & Operations
    Oversee global IT systems, networks, servers, cloud environments, and end-user devices. Manage daily operations, service desk functions, and vendor relationships to ensure uptime and exceptional internal support.
  • Cybersecurity & Compliance
    Implement corporate cybersecurity frameworks and controls. Conduct risk assessments, vulnerability testing, and ensure compliance with industry and regulatory standards.
  • Team Leadership & Vendor Management
    Build and lead an IT team supporting multiple sites. Manage vendor contracts, licensing, procurement, and IT budgets.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field.
  • 6+ years of progressive IT experience, including 3+ years in IT leadership. This experience includes ERP, Data Analytics, Digital Transformation and oversight of Infrastructure
  • Experience supporting manufacturing operations in a global or multi-site environment.
  • Proven success with ERP systems (Oracle, SAP, Epicor, QAD, Macola, etc.).
  • Must be hands-on with data analytics platforms (Power BI, Tableau), SQL, and cloud technologies (Microsoft 365, Azure) with the ability to build dashboards and reports.
  • Knowledge of AI/ML concepts or automation tools is a strong plus.
