Description:

NasTech Global Inc is seeking an IT Specialist Jr to support IT systems installation, configuration, and maintenance at the Pentagon, Arlington. This role requires a Secret security clearance and involves network configuration, troubleshooting, and hardware/software management within a classified government environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, configure, and maintain IT systems including Microsoft (MS) Server, Defense Message Systems (DMS), and storage/networking devices.
• Manage hardware and software for network services, storage networking devices, and servers.
• Integrate multiple Information Systems (IS) in a secure networked environment.
• Troubleshoot and resolve IT issues, evaluating and repairing customer IS problems.
• Perform hardware upgrades and repairs to ensure mission capability.
• Install and configure network devices such as wireless hubs, routers, and switches.
• Optimize and troubleshoot LAN and Base Area Networks (BAN).
• Work with advanced networking protocols, including:
  • IPv6
  • EIGRP
  • BGP
  • VLANs
  • VPNs
  • NAT

Required Skills and Experience:

✔ Minimum 2 years of hands-on IT experience in system installation, configuration, and maintenance.
✔ Networking knowledge in concepts and protocols (IPv6, EIGRP, BGP, VLANs, VPNs, NAT).
✔ Hardware and software expertise in server hardware, storage devices, and network equipment.
✔ Must possess one of the following certifications:

• CompTIA A+
• CompTIA Network+
• Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA)
• Microsoft Technology Associate (MTA)
• Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA)

Security Clearance & Certification Requirements:

✔ Active Secret Clearance required.
✔ IAT Level II Certification (DoD 8570.01-M compliant), including:

• CompTIA Security+
• CCNA Security
• Systems Security Certified Practitioner (SSCP)

Education:

✔ Minimum: High School Diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (GED).

Compensation & Benefits:

💰 Pay Rate: $25 - $30 per hour ($4,333 - $5,200 per month).
