It Support Specialist

We are looking for an IT Support Specialist who is organized, proactive, and enjoys solving technical problems. In this role, you will help support the company’s computers, systems, and technology tools used by employees across different departments and locations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Help set up computers for new employees using tools like TeamViewer
  • Follow checklists to ensure computers are configured correctly
  • Install and set up software, accounts, and systems for employees
  • Provide support for printers, scanners, and other office equipment
  • Help manage user accounts and permissions in Yardi Voyager
  • Provide access and manage permissions in SharePoint
  • Add computers and users to TeamViewer
  • Review and manage quarantined emails
  • Help manage remote access permissions and user groups
  • Travel to company properties when needed to provide basic technical support
  • Assist residents with internet connectivity troubleshooting
  • Help manage building access systems such as maglocks, keypad locks, and access cards
  • Support employee offboarding, including disabling accounts and removing system access
  • Troubleshoot basic IT issues and escalate complex issues to the IT Manager
  • Help order and track IT equipment and supplies
  • Assist with basic network setup and troubleshooting (routers, switches, Wi-Fi)
  • Help document network layouts, equipment inventory, and system updates
  • Monitor network equipment and report issues to the IT Manager
  • Assist with other IT or administrative tasks as needed

Qualifications

  • Associate degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Basic knowledge of computer systems, troubleshooting, and software
  • Experience with Microsoft 365, SharePoint, or Yardi is a plus
  • Strong organization and multitasking skills
  • Good problem-solving ability
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
