Java Full Stack Developer

Description:

Rootshell Enterprise Technologies Inc., a trusted provider of IT consulting services across the United States, is currently seeking a skilled Java Full Stack Developer for a hybrid role based in Lansing, Michigan. The ideal candidate will possess comprehensive experience in full stack development using Java, front-end frameworks, and associated tools to build robust enterprise applications.

The developer will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and deploying scalable applications within an Agile environment. The role requires a strong foundation in both backend and frontend development, as well as familiarity with enterprise-level architectures and tools.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop complex systems using Java, Java 8, and related tools (e.g., Eclipse/JBoss Developer Studio).

• Design and implement user interfaces using JavaScript, CSS, HTML5, jQuery, and Bootstrap.

• Create and maintain RESTful APIs with Spring Boot and Spring Data.

• Work with ORM tools like JPA/Hibernate for database operations.

• Program with Oracle databases (12C or 19C), including SQL and PL/SQL.

• Participate actively in Agile ceremonies and contribute to sprint deliverables.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including QA, DevOps, and UI/UX designers.

• Support accessibility standards including ADA, WCAG 2.0, and Section 508 compliance.

• Utilize unit testing frameworks like JUnit and tools like Log4j.

• Optionally engage in reporting tasks using Jasper Reports, Crystal Reports, or Business Objects.

Required Skills:

• 7+ years of Java programming experience

• 5+ years with JavaScript/CSS and front-end frameworks

• 5+ years with Spring Framework and Spring Boot

• 5+ years with JPA/Hibernate and Bootstrap

• 5+ years working in Agile development environments

• 5+ years with HTML5, CSS, and Data Tables

• 4+ years with Java 8

• 4+ years with jQuery, jQuery UI

• 4+ years working with Oracle 12C/19C

Desired Skills:

• 4+ years with React.js

• 4+ years in JBOSS Enterprise environment

• 4+ years using SQL/PL-SQL

• 4+ years with Log4j, JUnit, and Tiles

• 4+ years with Jasper Reports, Crystal Reports, or Business Objects

• Experience with accessibility and user experience design standards
