Akkodis is seeking Jr. AWS Data Engineer for a 6+ Months Contract job with a client . Ideally looking Junior AWS data engineer to support the design, development, and maintenance of scalable data pipelines and cloud-based data solutions on Amazon Web Services (AWS).
Roles and Responsibilities:-
Role: Jr. AWS Data Engineer
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the development and maintenance of ETL data pipelines using AWS services such as AWS Glue, S3, Redshift, and Lambda.
- Support data ingestion, transformation, and validation from multiple structured and semi-structured data sources.
- Write and optimize SQL queries for data transformation and analysis.
- Develop basic Python PySpark scripts for data processing and automation.
- Participate in data quality checks, monitoring, and basic troubleshooting of data pipelines.
- Collaborate with senior engineers, analysts, and stakeholders to understand data requirements.
- Follow established coding standards, security practices, and data governance guidelines.
- Assist in documentation of data pipelines, processes, and technical designs
Required Skills
- Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field; 02 to 3 years of experience in data engineering, data development, or cloud-based projects.
- Working knowledge of AWS services S3, AWS Glue, Redshift, and Lambda (at least 2,3 of these).
- Proficiency in SQL and basic-to-intermediate Python.
- Familiarity with ETL concepts| data warehousing| and relational databases Understanding of basic cloud concepts and distributed systems Experience with Git or any version control system
