Description:
Liberty Personnel Services, Inc. is seeking a Legal E-Billing Coordinator on behalf of a prestigious law firm based in New York, NY. This is a full-time, hybrid position ideal for professionals with a strong background in legal billing, a keen eye for detail, and excellent organizational skills.
The selected candidate will play a pivotal role in coordinating the firm’s e-billing processes, including the preparation, transmission, and tracking of invoices through client-preferred platforms. The role requires consistent communication with attorneys, clients, and internal stakeholders to ensure the smooth handling of billing operations and resolution of any discrepancies.
Key Responsibilities:
Transmit electronic bills through client-specific platforms and monitor invoice statuses to ensure timely processing.
Prepare and submit billing accruals and budget forecasts in accordance with client guidelines.
Maintain comprehensive billing records and respond to inquiries professionally and efficiently.
Generate and review monthly billing reports to verify completeness and accuracy.
Coordinate with attorneys and clients to resolve any billing disputes or inconsistencies.
Input time entries, billable hours, and related expenses into the firm’s accounting systems.
Monitor budgets and manage billing workflows for legal projects and client matters.
Required Qualifications:
Prior experience using Aderant Expert or comparable legal billing systems.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook.
Strong technical aptitude and willingness to adapt to evolving billing platforms and tools.
Exceptional attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Effective communication skills to liaise with attorneys, clients, and finance departments.
