Litigation Associate

Description:

Zetlin & De Chiara LLP, one of the nation’s leading construction law firms, is seeking a litigation associate attorney with 3 to 8 years of experience in litigation for the firm’s New York City or New Jersey office.

Candidates must be admitted to practice, have a J.D. from an ABA accredited law school with strong academic credentials, possess strong research, writing and oral advocacy skills. Ideally, candidates will have experience in construction litigation, construction contract drafting and negotiating, alternative dispute resolution and providing risk management counseling.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years of litigation experience
• Construction Law experience a plus
• Juris Doctorate (J.D.) required
• NY or NJ Bar Admission
• Excellent writing, research, negotiation, and communication skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint and e-discovery platforms
• Strong work ethic and client service focus
