Description:

Acushnet Company, the global leader in golf product manufacturing and home to Titleist and FootJoy, is looking for a Machine Millwright to join its Golf Ball Manufacturing team. The role requires a highly skilled industrial technician to troubleshoot, maintain, repair, and optimize industrial machinery to support efficient production.

Key Responsibilities:

Industrial Equipment Maintenance & Repair

🔧 Independently troubleshoot, repair, and rebuild complex industrial machinery and mechanical assemblies.
🔧 Analyze, maintain, and repair automated/manual equipment, including electric, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
🔧 Perform preventive & predictive maintenance as per equipment schedules.

Machinery Installation & Troubleshooting

⚙️ Install, troubleshoot, and maintain power transmission, vacuum, and pneumatic systems.
⚙️ Dismantle and relocate industrial machinery using cranes, jacks, and lifting devices.
⚙️ Identify and resolve irregularities and malfunctions in plant production equipment.

Fabrication & Modification

🔩 Assist in modifications and upgrades to existing machinery for improved production techniques.
🔩 Perform basic fabrication, machining, and piping work.

Compliance & Continuous Improvement

📌 Strict adherence to safety, quality, and operational policies.
📌 Work independently or within a team to improve operational efficiency.
📌 Attend maintenance-specific training sessions for skill enhancement.

Job Requirements:

✔ Education & Experience (must meet one of the following):

• Technical Associates Degree or college-level certificate in Mechanical Discipline + 3+ years of industrial maintenance experience.
• 100% completion of TPC educational requirements + 3+ years of industrial maintenance experience.
• 7+ years of hands-on industrial experience in a skilled trade (no formal post-secondary education required).
  ✔ Must own trade tools.
  ✔ Must pass Machine Millwright skills assessment & multi-plant interview.
  ✔ Ability to install, repair, and troubleshoot industrial machinery.
  ✔ Basic knowledge of electronic controls, pneumatics, motors, and pumps.
  ✔ Experience working with cranes, hoisting devices, and lifting equipment.
  ✔ Strong work ethic and commitment to attendance policies.
