Maintenance Technician

Description:

Cushman & Wakefield’s C&W Services is hiring a Water Blast & Vacuum Technician to perform industrial cleaning and maintenance tasks in a team-oriented, safety-conscious environment. This role involves operating high-pressure cleaning equipment and supporting sanitation and maintenance duties across client facilities including corporate offices, manufacturing plants, and large public venues.

Key Responsibilities:

• Vacuum waste and spilled products, water blast clean machines, areas, lines, and pipes (handling up to 10,000 psi water pressure).

• Perform sanitation and cleaning tasks including shoveling, snow removal, pesticide application, and general area cleanup.

• Operate machinery and equipment safely, including skid loaders, scissors lifts, aerial lifts, forklifts, RTFL, hand and power tools.

• Follow safety protocols, wear necessary PPE, and work from elevated or confined areas when required.

• Communicate effectively with supervisors and customers to accomplish tasks and maintain customer relations.

• Maintain attendance, adhere to schedules, and work overtime, holidays, or weekends as needed.

• Complete administrative duties accurately, including time sheets and work orders.

• Contribute to team goals, short- and long-term planning, and performance expectations.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Valid driver’s license; CDL may be required depending on site.

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, work for extended periods, ascend/descend stairs or ladders, and operate required equipment.

• Communication skills to convey information clearly.

• Ability to work safely in environments with mechanical hazards, fumes, extreme temperatures, and high noise levels.

Compensation & Benefits:

• Pay: $23.63 per hour.

• Work Hours: Mon-Fri 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM or 10-hour days, 4 days/week (negotiable).

• Weekly pay on Fridays.
