Description:
We are looking for a Maintenance Technician to join our team that thrives in a fast-paced environment that values craftsmanship and continuous improvement.
What You Will Be Doing
- Perform maintenance and repairs on large industrial ovens, conveyors, and pretzel production lines
- Execute preventive maintenance (PMs) on all plant equipment
- Troubleshoot mechanical and basic electrical issues on production systems
- Respond to equipment breakdowns and restore operations quickly
- Use CMMS to document work orders, repairs, and maintenance activities
- Support continuous improvement by modifying or upgrading existing equipment
- Operate machine shop equipment including lathes, drill presses, mills, and grinders
- Fabricate and repair parts to support production equipment and minimize downtime
What You Will Need For This Job
- Experience in food manufacturing or similar production environment strongly preferred
- Hands-on maintenance experience in a manufacturing or plant setting
- Ability to operate and work with machine shop equipment (lathe, mill, drill press)
- Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills (conveyors, ovens, production equipment)
- Experience performing preventive maintenance (PMs)
- Basic electrical troubleshooting ability (reading schematics is a plus)
- Experience with welding or fabrication is a plus
- Familiarity with CMMS systems and maintenance tracking
- Refrigeration experience is a plus
