EY (Ernst & Young) is seeking an experienced SAP Project Systems Manager to join its Consulting team within the Technology – Engineering & Systems Integration – Technology Business Analysis practice. This role offers a unique opportunity to work with leading organizations, driving business transformation using SAP technologies to enhance operational efficiency and productivity.

As an SAP Project Systems Manager, you will lead the translation of business needs into technical solutions, ensuring that technology solutions align seamlessly with organizational goals. You will oversee project execution, manage client relationships, and contribute to the delivery of world-class SAP solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and deliver high-quality SAP projects or workstreams, managing full project life cycles from requirements gathering to deployment.

• Translate complex business requirements into detailed technical specifications and system designs.

• Evaluate technology solutions to ensure alignment with client business objectives.

• Oversee professional employees or supervise technical teams to deliver complex initiatives effectively.

• Manage risk, ensure quality, and maintain clear communication with key stakeholders throughout project execution.

• Drive process improvement and innovation across SAP implementations using industry best practices.

• Provide leadership in client engagement and develop long-term professional relationships.

• Manage configurations and integrations with both SAP and non-SAP systems.

• Travel as needed based on project or client requirements.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.

• 4–6 years of experience in SAP Project Systems (PS), with in-depth knowledge of related SAP Finance modules.

• Experience managing SAP projects and teams, preferably in a hybrid onshore/offshore model.

• Deep understanding of Project Systems processes across industries, including:

  • Project structures (WBS, Networks, Templates)

  • Planning, Budgeting, Milestones, Billing, and MRP

  • Results Analysis, Resource-Related Billing, and Event-Based Revenue Recognition

• Strong knowledge of integration between SAP PS and other modules such as:

  • Managerial Accounting

  • Financial Accounting

  • Materials Management

  • Order to Cash

  • Plant Maintenance

  • Production Planning

  • Human Resources

• Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.

• Experience in developing functional specifications and performing system configuration.

• Strong leadership, negotiation, analytical thinking, and relationship management skills.

• Willingness to travel for client engagements.

Preferred Qualifications:

• SAP certifications such as C_TS412 SAP Certified Associate – SAP S/4HANA Project Systems.

• Experience with at least three full-cycle SAP implementations.

• Prior consulting experience or experience in accounting or finance roles.

• Additional SAP Finance certifications.

• Proficiency in Project System security roles and management accounting processes.

• Prior experience leading cross-functional project teams.
