Tatum Professional Search is looking for a well-rounded, professional, and poised Accounting Professional to join the team of a well known consumer goods organization located in central Jacksonville. This individual must be LOCAL to JACKSONVILLE, FL and have their CPA license or at least be sitting for it. This individual will be handling audits and financial reporting and must have applicable experience in order to be successful. Benefits and hours are amazing!
 

responsibilities:

• Preparation of financial statements and supporting schedules in formats required for U.S. and parent company reporting.
• Responsible for a wide variety of accounting tasks including auditing, balancing, and analyzing account balances which are included in the company's financial statements
• Receives and processes documents representing a variety of financial transactions
• Review journal entries and reconciliations, including but not limited to inventory, fixed assets, and intercompany receivable/payable.
• Maintain journals, ledgers and other complex financial records and routinely establish the total financial status of various accounts
• Develops standard and complex financial statements reflecting accounting systems; prepares financial schedules, reports and/or analyses
• Assists otter managers and staff regarding internal control or other reports, contracts and various regulations
