Material Handler

Description:

EFCO Forming & Shoring Solutions is seeking a Material Handler to support their Fresno, CA facility. EFCO specializes in innovative concrete forming and shoring solutions and emphasizes building careers, partnerships, and opportunities alongside construction projects. The role focuses on storing, moving, and managing materials while maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Materials Handling (60%): Clean and prepare forms for painting and repair; assemble, disassemble, and replace components. Supply production employees with materials, identify and locate parts, move materials to and from storage areas and docks, and assist with unloading trucks or containers. Read and analyze warehouse paperwork, inspect and operate material handling equipment, maintain accurate inventory records, and closely follow quality processes.

• Work Area Maintenance (10%): Maintain a clean and organized work area, including tools and equipment. Organize storage locations including pallets, racks, and shelves. Ensure products are correctly labeled and returned to proper locations.

• Safety (15%): Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local safety regulations. Identify and address potential safety hazards, follow all company safety procedures, use applicable personal protective equipment, and report or correct unsafe equipment or practices.

• Perform additional duties as assigned by supervision to meet organizational goals.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Ability to read blueprints and both metric and imperial dimensions accurately.

• Must be at least 18 years old.

• Capable of performing physical labor and strenuous tasks in various weather conditions.

• Punctual, reliable, and safety-conscious.
