Builders FirstSource, America’s largest supplier of building materials and related services, is seeking a dedicated Material Handler Warehouse to join their Tampa, FL team. In this role, you will be responsible for efficiently handling, moving, and maintaining materials and products within the warehouse according to established safety and operational guidelines. Key duties include lifting, carrying, and stacking materials, operating motorized and manual handling equipment (with specialized training provided where needed), and assisting senior team members to learn and improve processes. You must follow all safety protocols, attend safety meetings, and may contribute ideas to enhance workplace safety.
The position is ideal for individuals with strong manual dexterity, an understanding of basic safety procedures, and the ability to follow detailed instructions. The physical nature of the job requires lifting up to 25 pounds frequently and up to 80 pounds occasionally, with possible climbing, kneeling, and pushing tasks.
