Materials Handler

This position will allow you to support the field and USBP mission by performing manual labor associated with the operations of the warehouse storage and distribution facility. In this Materials Handler position, you will serve as a warehouse storage and distribution facility for USBP mission contingency stocks. Typical work assignments include:

• Packing, unpacking, stacking, warehouse, and relocating bins and bulk storage.
• Maintaining stock and inventory, enter and maintain an automated inventory system
• Determining material hold locations most suitable for assembling each shipment as well as locating trucks and other conveyances to transport materials
• Performing checks for maintenance, packing, and the storage of general supplies, high value items, and electric systems
• Operating forklifts to move, load or unload, transfer, transport, and stack palletized goods, materials and supplies from one location to another
