Mechanical Engineer

 

Description:

The Mechanical Engineer has the management responsibility for design projects from inception to completion and for project assessment, evaluation and follow up activities subsequent to the completion of the project.

In this position, you will:

  • Serve as a professional mechanical engineering expert and direct the design process of buildings’ HVAC and Plumbing engineering systems.
  • Review the design documents prepared by the A/E Consulting engineers for technical adequacy, accuracy, and quality assurance in the due diligence of the practice of mechanical engineering.
  • Lead and manage project teams of professionals and stakeholders, and contracted architects and engineers, from inception to completion of building design.
  • Develop original engineering designs for buildings or renovations of buildings and prepares associated drawings, specifications and design analysis.
  • Provide engineering support of in-house design for small building projects. Analyzes building system performance issues and proposes technical solutions.
