Description:
We are seeking a skilled Network Engineer with hands-on experience in Cisco Meraki and Palo Alto solutions. The candidate will be responsible for installation, cabling, configuration, deployment, and support of enterprise network infrastructure, including firewalls, switches, wireless access points, and structured cabling systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot Cisco Meraki devices including:
- Meraki MX Security Appliances
- Meraki MS Switches
- Meraki MR Wireless Access Points
- Install, configure, and manage Palo Alto firewalls.
- Perform rack-and-stack activities for network equipment.
- Execute structured cabling, cable termination, labeling, and testing.
- Configure VLANs, trunk ports, routing, NAT, VPNs, and security policies.
- Integrate Palo Alto firewalls with Meraki switching and wireless infrastructure.
- Perform network migrations, upgrades, and site deployments.
- Monitor network performance and resolve connectivity issues.
- Create and maintain network diagrams, implementation documents, and SOPs.
- Coordinate with ISP providers for WAN connectivity and troubleshooting.
- Conduct site surveys and provide deployment recommendations.
- Ensure compliance with security and network standards.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of Cisco Meraki Dashboard and cloud-managed networking.
- Experience with Palo Alto firewall deployment and administration.
- Hands-on experience with:
- LAN/WAN technologies
- TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS
- VLANs and Routing
- VPN technologies (IPSec, Site-to-Site, Remote Access)
- NAT and Firewall Policies
- Experience in structured cabling and network infrastructure installation.
- Knowledge of wireless networking and access point deployment.
- Ability to troubleshoot network and security issues effectively.
Preferred Certifications
- Cisco Meraki Solutions Specialist (CMSS)
- Cisco CCNA / CCNP
- Palo Alto PCCET / PCNSA / PCNSE
- Network Cabling Certification (preferred)
Educational Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics, Telecommunications, or related field.
Preferred Experience
- Enterprise network deployment projects.
- Data center or branch office network installations.
- Multi-site Meraki and Palo Alto implementations.
- Wireless site surveys and network optimization.
