Neuro-oncologist

ECU Health Physicians, in partnership with ECU Health Medical Center in Greenville, North Carolina, is seeking a board-eligible or board-certified, fellowship-trained Neuro-Oncologist to join its multidisciplinary cancer care team. The successful candidate will work closely with specialists in neurology, neurosurgery, radiosurgery, hematology oncology, radiation oncology, neuroradiology, and neuropathology. ECU Health Medical Center has earned the Joint Commission Gold Seal of Approval for Brain Tumor Care and serves as eastern North Carolina’s only American College of Surgeons Commission on Cancer-accredited Academic Comprehensive Cancer Center.

The role involves delivering advanced brain tumor care, participating in academic teaching for hematology/oncology fellows and neurology residents, and engaging in clinical research through ECU Health’s established clinical trials program in collaboration with East Carolina University’s Brody School of Medicine. The candidate will have access to state-of-the-art technology, including GammaTile therapy, Gamma Knife radiosurgery, and CyberKnife radiosurgery, as well as an integrated cancer care network spanning nine hospitals.
