Description:

A global leader in specialty insurance and warranty solutions, is seeking a Data Engineer to join their growing data team. You’ll work on mission-critical data engineering projects they continue their global expansion—starting with integrating the European ledger into their Snowflake data warehouse to create a unified view of business performance across regions.

This is a hands-on, high-visibility role, reporting directly to VP of Data based in the US, where you’ll collaborate closely with business, finance, and technology stakeholders across the US and Europe.

🧩 What You’ll Be Doing

• Design and own robust, high-performance ETL pipelines using SQL, Python, Databricks, and DBT

• Ingest complex data sets from Europe’s specialty and warranty businesses

• Integrate Snowflake warehouse and automate financial/operational reports

• Support data product strategies and improve overall data quality and structure

• Collaborate with product managers and engineers on global data initiatives

• Define and document technical architectures and cloud-based solutions

Must-Haves:

• 6+ years in data engineering

• Strong skills in Python, Databricks, and SQL
