The College of Health Care Professions (CHCP) is seeking an experienced and passionate Ophthalmology Assistant Instructor to teach in a hybrid environment, combining both in-person and online learning. In this role, you will deliver hands-on instruction and online lessons in ophthalmology, while also mentoring and guiding students to help them develop the necessary skills for success in the healthcare field.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver dynamic and engaging instruction in ophthalmology-related topics, both in-person and online.

• Mentor and guide students, helping them succeed academically and professionally.

• Create a positive, inclusive, and interactive learning environment.

• Model professionalism, best practices in patient care, and healthcare ethics.

• Support curriculum development and participate in faculty activities to improve the quality of instruction and student success.

What You Bring:

• A minimum of 3 years of experience as an Ophthalmology Technician, Optometrist, or Ophthalmologist.

• Current certification in Ophthalmology or Optometry.

• Strong communication and organizational skills.

• Ability to meet deadlines and support student learning, both in person and online.

• Comfort with hybrid/online learning platforms and tools.
