Description:
The Outside Sales Representative will be responsible for selling pressure-sensitive tapes and protective films to industrial, appliance, aerospace, and automotive markets. The role covers 22 states in the Northeast US, and candidates should be based in Chicago, Dallas, or St. Louis. The position involves both direct sales and working with distributors. The ideal candidate will have 5 years of experience in outside sales and new business development, with a strong preference for those who have experience selling pressure-sensitive materials or working with distributors.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop new business and maintain relationships with key clients in various industries.
Sell pressure-sensitive tapes and protective films to industrial, appliance, aerospace, and automotive markets.
Travel approximately 50% of the time within the Northeast US.
Work directly with distributors to promote and sell products.
Qualifications:
Education: 4-year college degree.
Experience: 5+ years in outside sales with a focus on new business development.
Preferred Experience: Selling pressure-sensitive materials and/or selling through or for distributors.
Ability and willingness to travel up to 50% of the time.
Compensation:
Base Salary: $85,000 - $100,000
Bonus: Up to $25,000 annual bonus
