The Packager Duties Include
- Properly slices and packs fresh and frozen smoked salmon according to customer specifications.
- Maintains a clean and sanitary work area to meet USDC and HACCP standards, and properly cares for all production equipment.
- Maintains an accurate and up-to-date list of product produced daily.
- Properly rotates and slices fresh and frozen product.
- Ensures accurate weights on retail products.
- Ensures accurate use of packaging and labels onto product according to production schedule.
- Handles product properly, and safely operates pallet jack.
- Maintains a clean and sanitary work area to meet USDC standards.
- Follows all company safety policies and procedures.
- Responds to change productively and handles other duties as required.
- Fast paced and involves lifting. 50+ pounds, occasional exposure to sub-zero temperatures in the cooler and freezer.
