Description:

Creative Circle’s client, one of the largest CPG brands in their space, seeks a hands-on Art Director specializing in Packaging and Production to join their team. This is a hybrid contract role, 40 hours per week, with onsite work in Park Ridge, NJ, Monday through Thursday and remote work on Fridays. The office features a modern workspace and onsite gym.

The Art Director will work closely with the Creative Director and Marketing team to lead concept development, design, and execution of 360° creative packaging, print collateral, displays, and brand identity materials.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with creative and marketing teams to design engaging, on-brand packaging and promotional materials.

• Ideate and develop innovative 2D and 3D packaging concepts and displays.

• Maintain and enforce brand identity standards across product lines.

• Manage pre- and post-production design processes.

• Collaborate on trade show visuals, corporate signage, and display mockups.

• Review proofs, attend press runs, and ensure final production quality.

• Assist in product photography (nice to have).

• Work cross-functionally with other teams to align creative execution with business goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, or related field.

• 7+ years of design experience in CPG, Beauty, or Fashion industries.

• Strong typography, layout, packaging, and production skills.

• Expertise with Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Bridge) and Microsoft Office.

• Experience designing trade ads, visual trade show materials, and 3D packaging.

• Knowledge of printing processes, prepress, and rendering.

• Designs should be bright, fun, and playful — aligning with consumer-driven brands.

• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. (no sponsorship or OPT/STEM support).
