⏳ Duration: 12 Months
Role Overview:
As a Packaging Engineer I, you’ll join our Package Engineering Center of Excellence team, leveraging state-of-the-art labs to develop innovative packaging designs. This role involves distribution testing, materials sustainability, and technical documentation to support Consumables and Instruments.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide packaging support for global internal and external customers.
Address packaging issues using Problem-Solving methodology.
Write technical protocols, reports, and ensure compliance with manufacturing/packaging standards.
Support the release of new packaging designs and enhancements to existing products.
Focus on sustainable packaging materials and waste reduction strategies.
Requirements:
Education: Bachelor’s in Packaging or related fields (e.g., Material Sciences).
Experience: 0–1 year in an FDA-regulated field.
Strong skills in technical writing, ISO, and GMP compliance.
Preferred Experience:
Distribution Testing per ASTM and ISTA standards.
CAD software or similar tools.
Knowledge of Cold Chain/Thermodynamics.
Additional Details:
Work hands-on with product testing sequences (environmental/distribution).
Participate in design reviews and resolution of packaging issues.
Track project schedules and release changes in compliance with company standards.
Attention to detail and organizational skills are critical.
