The Medical College of Wisconsin (MCW) and Children’s Wisconsin are seeking a Pediatric Epileptologist to join their growing division of Pediatric Neurology. This role provides an exciting opportunity to deliver exceptional patient care, advance innovative research, and contribute to academic excellence through teaching and mentorship.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide specialized epilepsy care within a Level IV NAEC-accredited Epilepsy Center, delivering pharmacologic, surgical, and neuromodulation therapies (RNS, DBS, VNS, ketogenic diet therapy).
Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team, including neurosurgery, neuropsychology, neuroradiology, neurogenetics, and specialized nursing staff.
Participate in specialized clinics such as epilepsy surgery, ketogenic diet, early-life epilepsy, neonatal neurology, and post-PICU care.
Engage in academic responsibilities, including teaching medical students, residents, and epilepsy fellows.
Conduct and collaborate on research projects from basic science to clinical trials, leveraging MCW’s partnership with the Clinical and Translational Science Institute of Southeastern Wisconsin.
Participate in community outreach and optional practice opportunities in Appleton, Kenosha, and Delafield, broadening patient access to specialized epilepsy care.

Position Requirements:
MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
Board Certification/Eligibility in Pediatric Neurology and Clinical Neurophysiology or Epilepsy.
Licensed or eligible for medical licensure in the State of Wisconsin.
Fellowship training in Pediatric Epilepsy or significant clinical experience in epilepsy care.
Strong commitment to family-centered, compassionate pediatric care.
Excellent collaboration skills in multidisciplinary environments.
