Physician Assistant

Description:

Premise Health is seeking a dedicated and experienced Physician Assistant (PA) to join its on-site health center in Blaine, Washington. The role comes with a $7,500 sign-on bonus and offers a work-life balance with no night, weekend, or holiday shifts. The position requires working Monday to Thursday from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM and rotating Fridays from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM. The setting allows for more patient-focused, quality care with fewer time constraints than traditional environments.

In this role, the PA will be responsible for managing a variety of patient needs, including regulatory physical evaluations (OSHA, DOT, CDC), procedures (such as suturing, wound care, injections), and overseeing injury care for workers. Responsibilities also include developing and maintaining care plans, ordering diagnostic tests, coordinating with physicians and stakeholders, and maintaining detailed health records. The role plays a crucial part in education, patient counseling, return-to-work planning, and health promotion initiatives.

Key Requirements:

• Active state licenses and national certification (NCCPA required)

• ARC-PA accredited program degree

• DEA and controlled substance licenses (as applicable by state)

• CPR/BLS certification (hands-on required)

• At least 3 years of clinical experience in a relevant setting

• Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and workplace safety preferred

• Experience with Electronic Medical Records is an advantage

• Excellent communication and patient education skills
