Private Equity Associate - Generalist

They are seeking a highly motivated individual to join their Investment Team that invests in middle-market Industrials, Technology, Healthcare and Business Services companies.

The ideal candidate:

• Has a minimum of 2 years of direct investment banking experience within an industrials, technology, business services or generalist team. (REQUIRED!)
• Comes from a top 20 Investment Bank (Bulge Brackets, Elite Boutiques, and premier Middle Market Investment Banks)
• Exceptional financial modeling skills, and an entrepreneurial mindset. (There will be a modeling test included in the interview process)
• Proven ability to manage complex transactions and collaborate with senior executives
• Ties to California, or Los Angeles more specifically.

Responsibilities:

• Conducting industry research, due diligence, and analysis on investment targets, with the aim of understanding their business models, operations, financial performance, strengths, and opportunities

• Building, owning, and presenting financial models / forecasts

• Assisting in the preparation of investment memorandums

• Actively participating in firm meetings and presenting analyses and investment theses to Investment Committee

• Working directly with portfolio companies and management teams, including on value creation objectives and other initiatives to grow the value of investments
