Process Engineer

Key Responsibilities

Assists in the development and analysis of products, materials, processes, or equipment.

Under direct supervision/guidance, compiles, analyzes, and reports operational, test, and research data to establish performance standards for newly designed or modified products, processes, or materials.

This will become a central point for material needs, testing, and prototyping for the Replacement Materials effort.

Job responsibilities include:

• Collect data and observations (photos, videos, notes) during testing, and organize these for sharing with the team
• Emphasis on traceability, documentation, and good housekeeping
• Interest in material characterization
• Work on new material in an exploratory environment
• Comfort with hands-on work, including test set up and running, sample preparation, and product building

Qualifications

• 1+ year experience
• Engr degree not required
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Office
• Interest in polymer manufacturing methods preferred but not required
