Product Line Manager

Description:

Coherent Corp., a global leader in lasers, engineered materials, and networking components, is seeking a Director of Product Line Management to oversee the Optical Circuit Switch (OCS) product line. This leadership position is responsible for driving growth, profitability, and strategic direction by managing product development, pricing, and customer engagement.

Key responsibilities include developing and executing product roadmaps, setting pricing strategies, identifying market opportunities, managing product lifecycle (from R&D to commercialization), and ensuring alignment with company objectives. The role involves extensive collaboration with cross-functional teams, including R&D, Operations, Sales, Supply Chain, Marketing, Finance, and Legal, as well as frequent customer and supplier interaction.

The ideal candidate will hold a BA or BS in Engineering (MBA or MS/PhD preferred) and possess excellent strategic, analytical, and leadership skills. Strong communication, market analysis, and project management capabilities are essential.
