This position provides an opportunity to apply your technical and leadership skills in engineering and product marketing at the leading company. You will make important contributions through your involvement with new product development, product management, market research, strategy development, and product promotion projects crafting differentiated solutions that are industry-changing!

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
 

  • Participate as a product marketing manager in a cross-functional product development team. Responsibilities may include market research, strategic planning, product design, product documentation, as well as working with other team members to plan and coordinate project activities.
  • Perform basic business analytics, which may include the following:
    • Develop and evaluate methods and procedures for collecting data or arrange to obtain existing data.
    • Prepare reports of findings, illustrating data graphically and translate complex findings into written text.
  • Work with other Fisher business areas to collect and organize data evaluating market trends
  • Use product history, engineering, sales and profitability performance to support current product line maintenance decisions and complete modifications.
  • Support marketing collateral and website development, creating content to support sales force product knowledge and value messaging to customers.

For This Role, You Will Need:
 

  • Currently enrolled in an accredited college/university
  • Required Major(s): Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, Agricultural, Industrial, Materials, Computer), Engineering Management Business, Sales or Marketing Minor experience preferred
  • Understand business and technical concepts.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively.
  • Ability to maintain a keen attention to detail and manage multiple projects or tasks concurrently.
  • Web based development or business analytics experience a plus
  • Commitment to full-time (40 hour) Summer/Fall (May 2025- December 2025) Co-op experience in Marshalltown, IA.
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States. Sponsorship will not be provided for this position.
     

Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:
 

  • MBA with a technical undergrad degree
  • GPA: minimum 2.5
