Description:


Product Management

  • Evaluate and prioritize new enhancements and solutions through qualitative and quantitative assessments
  • Identify customer pain points and create plans for solutions to address needs
  • Manage connectivity partners for both McKesson expectations and customer needs
  • Translate business needs into actionable and well-defined initiatives
  • Work with McKesson Technology to deliver timely solutions through agile process
  • Perform market research and conduct competitive evaluation assessments
  • Work across customer product teams to coordinate connectivity needs
  • Work with other teams to ensure delivery of enhancements and timelines
  • Work with data security and legal teams to ensure privacy and protect assets
  • Connectivity provider partner management


Product Adoption/Utilization

  • Support communications and educate internal users on new features and enhancements
  • Update and promote user documentation
  • Respond to business requests as Subject Matter Expert
  • Support customer marketing activities and/or provide marketing value proposition content
  • Provide success metrics reporting
  • Collaborates with other product teams for efficiencies and alignment
  • Define, communicate, and train on best practices for product uses


Education

  • Associate or Bachelor's Degree


Critical Skills

  • Product Management experience or equivalent
  • Understanding of connectivity and EDI ordering
  • Understanding of analytics and data use in a business environment
  • Experience interacting with customers


Additional Knowledge & Skills

  • Understanding of healthcare supply chain distribution and products
  • Understanding of various healthcare class of trade and specialties
  • Demonstrated ability to develop solution value propositions; design presentations that clearly and concisely articulate the solution value proposition and/or ROI.
  • Ability to influence internal customers, external customers and business leaders.
  • Able to define market positioning of products/services, in order to gain customer acceptance, meet market share objectives, and sustain long term profitability.
  • Ability to foster effective working relationships with peers within and across organizational lines.
  • Strong understanding of various business areas of companies (such as IT, legal, sales, marketing, service) and how each area contributes to the effective management of new initiatives.
  • Ability to quickly adapt and adjust to change.
