ENGIE North America Inc., a leader in the Zero-Carbon Transition, is seeking a Project Controls Intern to join its Distributed Solar & Storage projects team in Chicago, IL. This internship offers a dynamic hybrid work environment where students can gain hands-on experience in the energy sector.

As a Project Controls Intern, you will provide vital support to the Project Controls team by engaging in project monitoring, controlling, and program management activities. Your responsibilities will include:

• Developing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and training materials to improve the functionality and usability of internal business tools.

• Creating dashboards and managing data control systems to enhance transparency and decision-making in project management.

• Deploying internal control measures to ensure compliance, quality standards, and operational efficiency across distributed energy projects.

What You’ll Bring:

• Enrollment in a bachelor’s degree program.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project).

• Knowledge of data visualization tools like Power BI, Tableau, or equivalent software.

Additional Details:

• This is a hybrid internship, combining both in-office and remote work.

• Interns must comply with ENGIE’s ethics, safety protocols, and internal policies.

• This position is part of ENGIE’s ESI NORTHAM division under the GBU Energy Solutions business unit.
