Description:
ENGIE North America Inc., a leader in the Zero-Carbon Transition, is seeking a Project Controls Intern to join its Distributed Solar & Storage projects team in Chicago, IL. This internship offers a dynamic hybrid work environment where students can gain hands-on experience in the energy sector.
As a Project Controls Intern, you will provide vital support to the Project Controls team by engaging in project monitoring, controlling, and program management activities. Your responsibilities will include:
Developing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and training materials to improve the functionality and usability of internal business tools.
Creating dashboards and managing data control systems to enhance transparency and decision-making in project management.
Deploying internal control measures to ensure compliance, quality standards, and operational efficiency across distributed energy projects.
What You’ll Bring:
Enrollment in a bachelor’s degree program.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project).
Knowledge of data visualization tools like Power BI, Tableau, or equivalent software.
Additional Details:
This is a hybrid internship, combining both in-office and remote work.
Interns must comply with ENGIE’s ethics, safety protocols, and internal policies.
This position is part of ENGIE’s ESI NORTHAM division under the GBU Energy Solutions business unit.
