Description:
Ecosave, a leading name in sustainable energy solutions, is seeking an Energy Efficiency Project Manager (EPM) to join its dynamic team in Philadelphia, PA. The selected individual will collaborate with the Efficiency Engineering team to successfully deliver complex energy and water conservation projects. This role is ideal for professionals with a strong engineering background, excellent project management skills, and a passion for driving sustainability and operational excellence.
The EPM will be responsible for managing the full lifecycle of energy efficiency projects — from conception to commissioning — ensuring delivery within scope, schedule, and budget. The position demands a balance of technical expertise, hands-on project execution, and effective stakeholder coordination.
Plan, document, and maintain accurate project scope, schedule, and budget throughout all project phases.
Manage and administer all aspects of energy conservation measures, including associated incentives, grants, and tax credits.
Oversee subcontractors and suppliers to ensure quality delivery, cost control, and compliance with project timelines.
Collaborate with engineering teams to design, commission, and validate energy efficiency solutions.
Ensure project sites adhere to health, safety, and environmental standards.
Communicate complex technical information clearly to clients and internal stakeholders through reports, briefings, and meetings.
Support proposal development, including technical approaches, cost estimates, and timelines.
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers and project staff.
Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients to ensure satisfaction and repeat business.
Record and analyze performance data to validate energy savings following IPMVP (International Performance Measurement and Verification Protocol) standards.
Drive continuous improvement and professional development initiatives within the team.
Bachelor’s degree (B.S.) in Electrical, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering, or an equivalent field.
Professional certifications such as CEM, CEA, CMVP, or LEED AP are highly preferred.
PMP certification or trade license experience in HVAC, Controls, or Building Technologies is a plus.
Demonstrated experience in project and construction management, particularly in energy efficiency retrofit or upgrade projects.
Technical knowledge of energy efficiency technologies, including HVAC, Building Automation Systems, lighting, and water conservation systems.
Familiarity with ASHRAE standards, energy modeling, and building codes (IESNA, NEC, IBC).
Experience with SAP, Procore, Salesforce, and other project management or ERP platforms.
Strong computer literacy in scheduling, estimating, budgeting, and resource management software.
Proven ability to deliver projects under tight deadlines and in constrained retrofit environments.
Strong analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities for client engagement and teamwork.
Advanced understanding of mechanical, HVAC, and building systems.
Ability to manage multiple projects across diverse geographic regions.
Knowledge of permitting processes and project closeout procedures.
Capability to travel and occasionally work after hours as project demands require.
High attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety standards.
Competitive compensation between USD 110000 – 130000 per year based on experience and qualifications.
