Property Accountant

Description:

LHH is working with a multi-unit, real estate organization that is growing significantly. The company is performing a number of acquisitions, and they are looking for a sharp Property Accountant. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of accounting experience. This is a full-cycle accounting role and is in office however it does offer flex time.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provides financial statement guidance to Operations in multi-location environment
• Reviews financial data for completeness, accuracy, and compliance
• Assists in the month end close process
• Completes balance sheet and bank reconciliations
• Ensures that appropriate controls and compliance processes are followed
• Makes recommendations for process improvements and automation opportunities
• Prepares journal entries
• Prepare schedules to ensure audit compliance
• Prepares planned and ad-hoc reports

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor's degree in accounting
• Multi-unit experience preferred
